Max Kepler back in Twins lineup Saturday

The Minnesota Twins announced that they have reinstated outfielder Max Kepler from the 10-day Injured List. He’s in the lineup Saturday vs. Toronto. To make room on the 26-man roster, the Twins have optioned outfielder Mark Contreras to Triple-A St. Paul.

Kepler, who missed the last nine games with a right fifth toe fracture, has hit .244 (70-for-287) with 13 doubles, one triple, nine home runs, 39 RBI, 41 walks, 41 runs scored and a .344 on-base percentage in 85 games this season.

Contreras has played in 12 games for the Twins this season across five stints, hitting two home runs with four RBI and three runs scored.
