Twins: Kepler reinstated from injured list, Rooker placed on it

On Sunday, the Minnesota Twins announce outfielder Max Kepler will be returning to the team from the injured list.

Kepler has been reinstated as of Sunday. To make room for Kepler on the 28-man roster, the Twins have placed outfielder Brent Rooker on the 10-day injured list. He was hit by a pitch in the fourth inning of Saturday night’s matchup against the Cleveland Indians and earlier Sunday it was determined he fractured his forearm.

Kepler has missed the past nine games due to a left abductor strain, an injury he suffered on Sept. 2.
