Twins Buxton talks about lingering knee injury

Minnesota Twins center fielder Byron Buxton missed his second straight game with a knee injury on Thursday against Cleveland with what manager Rocco Baldelli calls “a severe chronic case of tendinitis which leads to severe swelling.”

Buxton has missed several games from injury this season. He has played in 51 of the Minnesota’s 71 games so far this season.
The Twins open a three game series against the Colorado Rockies on Friday at 7:10 at Target Field.
