Twins announce first 20 theme nights, starting June 8

Thursday, the Minnesota Twins announced the club’s first 20 theme nights for the 2021 season at Target Field.

The theme nights start June 8 and celebrate diversity, raise awareness to important health causes and revel in pop culture phenomenon.

According to the club, additional theme nights, including Love Your Melon, Timberwolves and Wild nights, will be announced in the future after details are finalized. Below are the currently scheduled theme nights and the exclusive associated items:

  • SKOL Night – June 8 vs. New York-AL (Co-branded SKOL/Twins Cap)
  • Loons Night – June 10 vs. New York-AL (Co-branded Loons/Twins Beanie)
  • Grateful Dead Tribute Night – June 11 vs. Houston (Grateful Dead-inspired Twins Cap)
  • Margaritaville Night – June 12 vs. Houston (Margaritaville-inspired Twins Hawaiian Shirt)
  • Peanuts Day – June 13 vs. Houston (Twins-themed Charlie Brown Bobblehead)
  • Cancer Awareness Night – June 21 vs. Cincinnati (also Mike Bell Tribute Night) (Twins Cancer Awareness Caps (10 varieties) benefiting the American Cancer Society)
  • North Dakota State University Night, Presented by Alerus – June 24 vs. Cleveland (Co-branded NDSU/Twins Cap)
  • Friends Day – June 26 vs. Cleveland (Friends-themed T.C. Bobblehead)
  • Sesame Street Day – June 27 vs. Cleveland (Twins/Cookie Monster T-Shirt)
