Twins-Angels games postponed due to COVID-19 concerns
The Minnesota Twins-Los Angeles Angels games scheduled for Saturday and Sunday have been postponed to allow for continued COVID-19 testing and contact tracing involving members of the Twins organization.
Wednesday morning, the Minnesota Twins placed shortstop Andrelton Simmons on the COVID-19 Injured List.
Twins manager Rocco Baldelli received a false positive result on Thursday but he said on Friday that another unnamed member of the organization within their traveling party did test positive.
Baldelli also said Saturday night that Kyle Garlick and another unnamed player tested positive on Saturday.
The Angels beat the Twins 10-3 Friday night in Anaheim.
Major League Baseball will continue to provide updates as available.
