Twins activate Rich Hill from IL, option Littell to alternate training site

The Minnesota Twins on Wednesday announced that pitcher Rich Hill was activated from the injured list. He’d missed the past 19 games with left shoulder fatigue.
In a corresponding move, the team announced pitcher Zack Littell had been optioned to the club’s alternate training site in St. Paul.
Additionally, pitcher Cory Gearrin cleared outright waivers and was assigned to the team’s alternate training site, the Twins announced.
