Twins’ 2022 Spring Training schedule unveiled

The 2021 season hasn’t turned out as many hoped and expected for the Minnesota Twins, but another season is right around the corner.

Wednesday, the team released its 2022 Spring Training schedule.

The spring slate features 33 total games with an exhibition game against the University of Minnesota for the home opener on Feb. 25, 2022. The club’s Grapefruit League opener will come the following day when the Twins host Toronto.

The schedule also features four home contests against Boston, two each against Toronto, Baltimore, Tampa Bay and Atlanta, and games also against the Yankees, Phillies, Tigers and Pirates.

Minnesota will wrap up its 2022 Spring Training schedule on March 29 against Boston before Opening Day against the White Sox on March 31 in Chicago.

Ticket information for spring training games will be released at a later time.
