Former Champlin Park high school guard McKinley Wright had a good week at the NBA Draft Combine. He was teammates with Minnesota natives Matthew Hurt and Jericho Sims, two players he played with at different points in AAU. In other words, there was instant chemistry.

Wright impressed NBA decision-makers with his on-ball defense, play in the pick-and-roll, and vision.

He talked with our Darren ‘Doogie’ Wolfson following a solid performance in one of the nationally-televised scrimmages.
