TRIA Prep Salute, June 23: Wayzata’s Carter Bjerke

Every Wednesday at 6:50 p.m., we recognize a high school athlete or team with our TRIA Prep Salute.

This week’s honoree is from Wayzata high school and it’s basketball player Carter Bjerke. The 6-foot-8 center recently committed to play D-1 for the University of St. Thomas.

Bjerke, who helped lead the Trojans to a state title in April, also had offers from Ivy League schools.
