We recognize an athlete or team every Wednesday during the high school sports year. We call it our TRIA Prep Salute.
This week’s honoree is the last of this school year and it’s Benilde-St. Margaret’s baseball player Sam Monk. His extra innings hit last Friday at Target Field lifted the Red Knights to the 3A championship.
