Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns will miss Sunday’s game at the Los Angeles Lakers after suffering a left wrist dislocation in Minnesota’s win against Utah on Saturday.
The Timberwolves announced Towns will not require surgery and will be further evaluated weekly.
In his first two games of the season, Towns is averaging 22.6 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per games and helped the Timberwolves get off to a 2-0 start.
Towns missed the final month of last season due to fractured left wrist.
