Tommies home opener ends with first win of season, 32-6 over Michigan Tech

The St. Thomas football team scored a touchdown on the opening drive of the game against Michigan Tech, and never trailed the rest of the way in a 32-6 win Saturday afternoon at O’Shaughnessy Stadium.
The Tommies accumulated 296 yards of total offense, led by running back Shawn Shipman’s 151 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

With the win, St. Thomas improved to 1-1 on the season.
The Tommies enter a bye week, before hosting Lincoln University (California) on September 24.
