Timberwolves, Prince agree to two-year contract extension
Sources confirm to KSTP Sports that forward Taurean Prince and the Timberwolves have agreed to a two-year, $16 million contract extension.
Sources also confirm that year two of the contract isn’t guaranteed.
Prince emerged as a solid option off the bench for the Timberwolves, averaging 7.3 points, 2.5 rebounds in 17 minutes per game.
Prince played in 69 games for Minnesota last season. The 28-year-old returns to a Timberwolves team that made the Western Conference playoffs, and lost to Memphis in the first round.
