Timberwolves president of operations Gersson Rosas met with reporters on Monday. The Wolves have picks 1, 17, and 33 in Wednesday’s NBA Draft.
Rosas confirmed that trade interest in all three picks is high.
“The lines of communication are open," Rosas said. “We’ve gotten a lot of calls, we’ve gotten a lot of opportunities and it’s good because you have options. You have good talent there at those selections, or you have options to trade out for either players or futures, which could help us moving forward.”

The Wolves met with and worked out top prospects LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards. But not James Wiseman. Sources tell KSTP that his side turned down the Wolves’ desire for a meeting.
So, will the Wolves make a pick at No. 1 like Edwards or Ball, or trade down to say, 3, and Charlotte?
“This is a multi-year decision in terms of who we think the best talent is going to be… It’s about the development and integration into our system and with our players. All of that comes into consideration. At the end of the day, finding the best talent is going to give us the best chance at success,” Rosas said.
