Timberwolves, Lynx to host blood drive at Target Center July 9

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx will host a blood drive at Target Center next month.

The organization said the blood drive, in partnership with the American Red Cross and Anheuser-Busch, will take place from noon to 6 p.m. on July 9.

According to the release, the Red Cross will test all blood, platelet and plasma donations for COVID-19 antibodies, providing donors insight into whether they’ve been exposed to the coronavirus.

Donors will receive a Timberwolves and Lynx-themed pint glass and a 50% off coupon for the team’s online store.
