Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns out at least two more weeks

The Timberwolves announced on Friday afternoon that center Karl-Anthony Towns has a fracture in his left wrist. He’s expected to be out for at least the next two weeks and will be reassessed then. Towns had previously missed the loss vs. Charlotte before the All-Star break.

The Wolves play eight games over the next weeks, with a ninth game coming shortly after.

Friday night will be the 19th game that Towns has missed this season. He previously was out with a knee injury.
