Tickets for first 17 home Twins games to go on sale Thursday

Fans will be able to buy tickets to the first 17 home games for the Minnesota Twins beginning on Thursday.

The team said single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Thursday online or through the MLB Ballpark app. Fans will be limited to four tickets each for the April 8 home opener and 20 each per game for the other 16 games.

Based on current state guidelines, a maximum of 10,000 fans will be allowed at Target Field to start the season.

The team said it will implement health and safety protocols, including socially distanced seating, for games.

Minnesota opens its 2021 season on April 1 in Milwaukee before hosting its first home game on April 8 against Seattle.

The Twins said existing season ticket holders will receive first priority access to tickets each month while capacity restrictions are in place. The remaining inventory will then be made available to the general public on a month-by-month basis. Tickets for home games after May 6 will be made available in April.
