The Eagan volleyball team is one of the best programs every year in Minnesota and this year will be no different. Two seniors who will lead the Wildcats are Kennedi Orr and Abby Moe. Orr has been on varsity since the seventh grade and this is her final go ’round with her team.

"We’re so excited to get back in the gym and play together, because we didn’t think it could happen," Orr told KSTP.

Abby is a three year starter for Eagan and she says she’s going to soak in every minute of her senior season.

"It went by so fast. It’s hard not to take things for granted. I’d do anything to go back and relive all of this, it’s an amazing experience and I can’t wait for this year to start. This is my family we’re all best friends, so it was great to come back together," said Moe.

Orr is the top-ranked player in the entire country and is scheduled to play for the University of Nebraska next year. Orr graduates in December and will start classes at Nebraska in January 2021. Before that happens, she plans on making as many memories as possible before she leaves Eagan.

"Every team we have is different and has a different personality. I’m really excited for this year to see younger girls on junior varsity get to play on varsity. I’m just excited to share these memories with them," Orr adds.

After graduation Moe will play college volleyball for North Dakota State University. Moe said the time she’s spent with Orr the past three years is something she’ll remember forever.

"She’s one of the greatst leaders. She makes everyone around her better. She pushes her teammates and I’m just so blessed to play with her," Moe added.

Eagan will face Shakopee on Wednesday in Shakopee.
