Coach John Tschida will bring his seventh Tommie team to the eight-team national finals, including three in the last five World Series played. Anderson-Glass, who is 22-3 in career postseason games, has been the staff ace for each of those qualifiers in 2016, 2019 and now 2021, after missing the 2017 and 2018 seasons for medical reasons.
Tschida won his 800th game in 21 seasons at St. Thomas on Saturday (802-150). He has 1,008 wins in 27 seasons at St. Mary’s and St. Thomas and has announced plans to return to St. Mary’s as head coach starting next fall.
