St. Thomas men’s, women’s basketball games vs. KC postponed

The University of St. Thomas men’s and women’s basketball teams will not play their games against Kansas City this weekend as scheduled.

The Summit League announced Tuesday that the men’s game is being postponed to Feb. 8 while the women’s game will now be played on Feb. 14.

The news comes after several disruptions to the league’s basketball schedules due to COVID-19 protocols. The league’s Joint Council on Tuesday unanimously voted to alter its rescheduling policy, as the league will now try to reschedule all games that were previously canceled and any others needing to be postponed in the future due to COVID-19.

Games that can’t be made up will be considered a "no contest."
