NCAA Women’s Final Four: South Carolina’s Aliyah Boston wins Naismith Award

South Carolina forward Aliyah Boston was named the Naismith Player of the Year Wednesday afternoon in Minneapolis.
She’s helped lead the defending champion Gamecocks to 33-2 record heading into the Final Four at Target Center. Boston averaged 16.8 points and 12.2 rebounds per game this season. She also took home the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Award.
South Carolina’s Dawn Staley received the Naismith Coach of the Year Award.
