Smith put on 15-day injured list, Moran recalled from Triple A

A pitcher for the Minnesota Twins has been placed on the 15-day injured list.

According to the team, right-handed pitcher Joe Smith on the list due to upper trap tightness.

The placement is retroactive to Friday, June 24.

Due to the move, the team has recalled left-handed pitcher Jovani Moran from Triple-A St. Paul.

So far, Moran has played 8 games for the Twins this season. For the Saints, he has played in 13 games.
