The last time the St. Paul Saints played a game they were winning the American Association championship for the first time in 15-years.

Unfortunately their season is still in doubt as the country fights through the coronavirus pandemic.

Saints owner Mike Veeck is lifelong baseball man and he knows that sports have a certain healing power.

"It’s not just the competition that which we thrive," Veeck told KSTP Sport Director Joe Schmit. "It’s also the comradery and shared experience and the joy in that in that particular emporium."

Veeck’s motto is ‘fun is good.’ Right now it’s not easy to have fun, but Veeck’s advice if you’re feeling stressed – take time every day to turn your brain off.

"Ten minutes each day. Don’t move, don’t talk, don’t say anything. Even attempt to keep your eyes not focused and it creates a great calm."
