Russell and Rosas reaction from Friday’s Timberwolves news conference

We put together a mini-compilation of stuff we gathered at Friday’s Timberwolves news conference at City Center in downtown Minneapolis.

Here’s some reaction from D’Angelo Russell and a 1-on-1 chat with president of operations Gersson Rosas.

Russell didn’t practice with the Wolves on Friday afternoon as some paperwork transaction stuff is still being sorted through. But the hope is he makes his Wolves debut in Saturday night’s game vs. the Clippers at Target Center.

Evan Turner, acquired from Atlanta among the many moves this week, wasn’t at Friday’s news conference. A source tells our Darren Wolfson that Turner was in town working out at Concordia-St. Paul, but was set to leave on Friday afternoon. His status with the team is up in the air, as talks with his representation continue.
