Report: Timberwolves’ Edwards, Reid, Prince clear COVID-19 protocols

After having half the roster impacted by the recent COVID-19 outbreak across the NBA, the Minnesota Timberwolves will soon get some reinforcements.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports Tuesday that Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has cleared COVID-19 protocols, as have Naz Reid and Taurean Prince.

With the Timberwolves set to host the Knicks Tuesday night, the trio isn’t expected to play but will rejoin practices and start ramping up to return soon.

Minnesota is still without several other players, including stars Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell as well as forward Jarred Vanderbilt due to COVID-19 protocols.
