The Vikings and Broncos will practice together again on Thursday in Eagan, then will meet on Saturday afternoon in an exhibition game.
Bad news from the day: Vikings WR Blake Proehl went down with a knee injury and had to be carted off. An update on his status is expected Thursday. WR Bisi Johnson went down earlier in training camp with a season-ending knee injury.
These Vikings sat out Wednesday’s joint practice: DE Danielle Hunter, WR Justin Jefferson, WR Dede Westbrook, OL Christian Darrisaw, and QB Nate Stanley.
The Vikings are 20-5 under coach Mike Zimmer in preseason games. Their projected starting defense has seven players who weren’t on the roster last season.
