After spending months training in Los Angeles, Wolves point guard Jordan McLaughlin is back in town for summer workouts with members of the coaching staff.
Our Darren ‘Doogie’ Wolfson caught up with McLaughlin, via Zoom, to talk about how year No. 1 in the NBA went, what the future holds, the idea of an 8-team bubble in Chicago later this summer, and much more.

McLaughlin averaged 7.6 points per game on a solid 48.9% field goal percentage, while shooting 38.2% from three-point range. He also averaged over 4 assists per game, while rarely turning the ball over. He had a career-high 24 points in a win over the Clippers in February.
The Wolves brought McLaughlin in for the Vegas Summer League last summer, then signed him before the season to a two-way contract. Before that, he had spent a preseason with the Brooklyn Nets, then played for their G-League affiliate.
McLaughlin will be a restricted free agent in October.
