The Twins have many of their top prospects training at CHS Field in St. Paul. One of those players is former first round pick Alex Kirilloff.
Our Darren ‘Doogie’ Wolfson caught up with Kirilloff to chat about how his experience is so far, who’s in his training group, the positions he’s focusing on, what it means to be part of the Twins’ 60-man roster, being ready to help the Twins’ big league roster if called upon this summer, and more.

Kirilloff hit .429 with two home runs and a 3:1 K:BB in 22 plate appearances in big-league camp earlier this year. He was expected to start the season at AA-Pensacola. He can play the corner outfield spots, or first base. His bat is his biggest asset.
Kirilloff, who attended high school in the Pittsburgh area, was the Twins’ first round pick in 2016. He signed for around a $2.8M bonus, bypassing an opportunity to play in college for Liberty.
