Former Mounds View high school star and current Packers starting guard Billy Turner talked to KSTP Sports about social injustice, racism, Drew Brees’ comments this week, and more.

Turner wrote on his Instagram page that "racism of all kinds, like every other behavior we acknowledge as humans, is learned and taught in the infancy of life."
Brees is in the firing lines after in an interview with Yahoo Finance the New Orleans Saints quarterback said he will "never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America." Brees has since apologized, something we asked Turner about.
Turner’s team, the Packers, is donating $500,000 to social justice causes in Wisconsin in the wake of the George Floyd killing and other deaths of African-Americans at the hands of law enforcers.
