Q&A: Twin Cities native Ade Murkey on joining Timberwolves organization

Former St. Croix Lutheran high school and Denver University guard Ade Murkey talks with KSTP Sports about signing an Exhibit 10 contract with the Timberwolves.

Murkey is a 2016 graduate of St. Croix Lutheran. He then went on to a solid career at the University of Denver. As a senior, Murkey averaged 18.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, and was one of the better defenders in the Summit League.

Murkey was voted to the 2020 All-Summit League second team. His season highlight was scoring a Denver Division-1 program record of 42 points vs. South Dakota State on Feb. 14th.
