Q&A: St. Cloud St. hockey coach Brett Larson previews Selection Sunday

At 17-10 with a second place finish in the loaded NCHC, the St. Cloud St. men’s hockey team is a lock for the NCAA Tournament. The 16-team field will be unveiled on Sunday night.

St. Cloud St. is projected to be a 2-seed. There’s a decent chance that all five D-1 Minnesota teams — SCSU, Minnesota, UMD, MN State-Mankato, and Bemidji St. — make the tourney.
The Huskies fell to North Dakota in this week’s NCHC tourney title game.
