Boltmann, 18, is playing juniors this season with Lincoln in the United States Hockey League. He said he’s talked to many NHL front offices, thinking it’s possible he’ll be picked later on Wednesday — Round 1 is Tuesday night, with Rounds 2-7 Wednesday.
Boltmann, who’s 6-1 and weighs 185 pounds, got a taste of the USHL when he played with Lincoln last fall. The right-handed shooting Boltmann won a state title with Edina his junior year.
