Former Gopher and current Cleveland Cavs head coach J.B. Bickerstaff is among many infuential alumni fired up about the hiring of Ben Johnson.
He talked with our Darren ‘Doogie’ Wolfson about his good friend getting the Gophers job.

Bickerstaff played for the Gophers from 1999-2001. He averaged 9.4 points and 5.8 rebounds in 43 career games. He missed playing with Johnson by one season, but through the Gophers’ family and their coaching bond, they have become close.
