Arkansas men’s hoops coach Eric Musselman saw up close how good new Wolves SG Anthony Edwards is. Edwards scored 26 points for Georgia in a home win vs. the Razorbacks on Feb. 29.
Musselman, a former TImberwolves ass’t, talked with our Darren ‘Doogie’ Wolfson, via Zoom, about Edwards and two-way signee Ashton Hagans of Kentucky.

Musselman is in his second year as Arkansas coach. His dad, Bill, was the first Timberwolves coach.
The Timberwolves made Edwards the No. 1 overall pick last Wednesday. Edwards became the 11th straight one-and-done player to be the No. 1 pick, coming in a year where there was no clear obvious choice. He averaged 19.1 points for the Bulldogs, tops among all freshman.
