Q&A: Alex Hassan, Twins director of player development

We caught up with Alex Hassan, the Twins’ director of player development. He gave us updates on prospects Jose Miranda, Austin Martin, Josh Winder, Jhoan Duran, Royce Lewis, and more.

While success at the major league level has been a struggle this year, the Twins’ High-A, AA, and AAA affiliates are all having good runs.

Unfortunately, the Twins have many prospects dealing with injuries. So Hassan gave updates on Matt Canterino, Blayne Enlow, Winder, Duran, Lewis, and arms who have helped the Twins, including Devin Smeltzer and Cody Stashak.

Hassan also touched on the different rule changes at A, AA, and AAA.
