Park boys hoops too much for St. Paul Central

The Park of Cottage Grove Wolfpack boys basketball team defeated the St. Paul Central Minutemen 60-40 on Friday evening at Central High School.

It was a closely contested first half, ending with a halftime score of 24-21 in favor of the Wolfpack.
But, Park pulled away in the second half. Junior guard Ot Omot scored 16 points to lead the Wolfpack. Senior forward Jamari Walker had a highlight-filled second half, including two massive dunks to put the Minutemen away.
Gophers commit Pharrel Payne of Park didn’t play because of a minor lower-body injury.
