Former Hopkins high school star Zeke Nnaji is coming home next week to help host a boys basketball camp at his alma mater.

Entering his third year with the Denver Nuggets, the former first round pick plans on being hands-on, along with other Royals alumni, including Clippers forward Amir Coffey.

We caught up with Nnaji to hear about the camp and how his summer is going, what the Wolves are getting in former Denver boss Tim Connelly, the bond he’s already developed with former Wolves coach and Denver ass’t Ryan Saunders, and much more.

Nnaji finished last season playing in 41 games — one start — on 17.0 minutes per, a solid increase from his rookies year. A knee injury that is now healed derailed him in February.

He averaged 6.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game on shooting splits of 51.6% from the field, 46.3% from three, and 63.1% from the free throw line. Outside of free throw percentage, Nnaji improved in every major statistical category from 2020-21.
