Northfield volleyball dominates perennial power Eagan

The Northfield high school volleyball team made a statement earlier this week, sweeping perennial power Eagan on its home floor. Both teams are considered top-10 in the state.

Northfield is led by senior and Tennessee commit Sydney Jaynes. The Volunteers will soon have two Minnesota players. Red-shirt freshman Ava Moes, a Prior Lake native, is currently on the roster.
Eagan is trying to get back to the state tournament. They had a run of seven consecutive state tournament appearances come to an end last year.
