Lakeville South proves to be the #1 team in the state after beating #2 Eden Prairie, 42-7, in front of a standing-room-only crowd of more than 5,000 fans.
This game had little drama, as Lakeville South quarterback Camden Dean gave the Cougars the lead early in the first quarter with a two-yard touchdown run. That put Lakeville South up 8-0. All told, Dean had three touchdowns in the game, two through the air and one on the ground. He’s a Minnesota State-Mankato commit.

The lone touchdown for Eden Prairie was a 92-yard kick return by Logan Gareis that cut the Eagles deficit to 14-7 in the second quarter. From there it was all Lakeville South, as the Cougars would put up 28 unanswered points through the remainder of the game.
