No. 5 St. John’s opens season with 24-10 win over No. 4 UW-Whitewater

Saturday was an action packed day for college football at many levels, including NCAA DIII. St. John’s knocked off UW-Whitewater 24-10 in front of 12 thousand fans at Collegeville to open their season.
The Johnnies scored in all four quarters of the game. Four of their 24 points came from Warhawk turnovers that resulted in the end zone as safeties.

With the win, No. 5 St. John’s improves to 1-0 on the season, the Johnnies host UW-River Falls next Saturday.
