KSTP Sports sat in on a webinar Hill recently did for the Minnesota Blizzard Baseball Academy (use link to see entire video). He shared stories, tips and lessons from his 15-year career that currently ranks him as the elder statesman in the Twins locker room. Hill made his MLB debut in June 2005, three months before Nelson Cruz played in his first game.
Hill had Tommy John surgery in November that would have kept him from being ready had the 2020 season started on time. But with the pandemic shifting opening day into July – at the earliest – Hill might be ready to go when the Twins play their first game of the season.
