MNUFC reacts to 2022 MLS All-Star Game announcement

Minnesota United head manager Adrian Heath will serve as coach for the MLS All-Stars when the Loons host the 2022 Major League Soccer All-Star Game next August, and Loons midfielder Ethan Finlay knows what it feels like to play in an All-Star Game.

Shortly after the official announcement St. Paul will host that 2022 MLS All-Star Game, Heath, Finlay and United sporting director Manny Lagos discussed the honor.

The format for the August 10, 2022 game will be announced in the furute. Previous iterations of the MLS All-Star game has seen matchups ranging from a traditional conference-versus-conference game, to hosting one of Europe’s big-name clubs, to last year’s clash against All-Stars from Mexico’s top pro league, Liga MX.
