Minnetonka, Prior Lake cheer teams celebrate recent wins

Minnetonka High School and Prior Lake High School’s cheer teams have a few reasons to celebrate after this weekend.

Minnetonka’s varsity team won big in the 2020 World School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, Florida.

According to results from the event, the team took first in the "Medium Varsity Non-Tumbling" section.

The team also took first in the 2020 National High School Cheerleading Championship.

Meanwhile, Prior Lake High School took third in the "Medium Varsity Non-Tumbling" section at the National High School Cheerleading Championship.
