Minnetonka girls hockey beats Eden Prairie in the Section 2AA semifinals 7-0

Eden Prairie couldn’t match the intensity that Minnetonka had on Tuesday night as the Skippers scored seven goals in their win in the Section 2AA semifinals at Braemar Ice Arena.
The Skippers were led by sophomore Kendra Distad, who had two goals in the game. Six other players scored for Minnetonka.
With the win, Minnetonka advances to the Section 2AA final on Friday night where they’ll take on Holy Family. Holy Family defeated Shakopee 3-1, to get to the section finals.
Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Braemar Ice Arena.
