‘Minnesota will always be home’: Former Wild winger Zucker thanks fans

Former Minnesota Wild winger Jason Zucker thanked Minnesota fans Thursday after being traded earlier in the week.

Fans, community sad to see Jason Zucker leave Wild

In a social media post, Zucker said, "Minnesota will always be home."

Zucker also thanked former Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher for trading up and drafting him 59th overall in 2010, and the "Wild organization for treating my family like gold."

Zucker was traded Monday night to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for forward Alex Galchenyuk, a 2020 first-round pick and defenseman Calen Addison.
