Jordan Greenway participated in the team’s Tuesday practice session and is expected to re-join the lineup when the Wild face Winnipeg on Wednesday night. He’s battled various shoulder ailments the last couple seasons, but is expected to be back in the lineup against the Jets.
Greenway missed the start of the season, returned to play two games before going back out of the lineup due to another shoulder problem.
After scoring the overtime winner against Carolina on the same night he was honored for 1,000 career games, Alex Goligoski was working with the first power play unit Tuesday morning.
Sam Steel, who scored a goal and an assist in the win over Carolina, was skating with the second power play unit and remained as the top line center between Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello.
Marco Rossi did not work with the power play units. It’s possible he could be in line for a return to Iowa for a potential confidence boost going goalless with just a single assist in 16 games this season.
Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury did not skate with the team during Tuesday’s practice session, but took the ice to face shots from some teammates after practice ended.
Head coach Dean Evason said there is still no set timetable for Fleury’s return from what the team announced is an upper body injury.
