Minnesota United’s 2021 MLS season schedule announced
On Wednesday, the Minnesota United announced their 2021 Major League Soccer schedule. Headlining the 34-match season are five nationally televised games, including the season opener at Seattle on April 16 at 8:30 p.m.
According to the club, after starting the season in Seattle, they will return to St. Paul the following week to face Real Salt Lake in the 2021 home opener at Allianz Field on April 24 at 7 p.m. In 2021, Minnesota United will celebrate Mental Health Awareness on May 15 against FC Dallas at 7 p.m. and Hispanic Heritage on Sept. 25 against the Houston Dynamo. Pride Night will see the Loons host 2021 expansion side Austin FC on June 23 at 7 p.m.

In addition to the season opener at Seattle, the Loons will feature in four nationally televised games from Allianz Field. They are as follows:
- July 18 against Seattle on ESPN
- Aug. 14 against Los Angeles Galaxy on FOX
- Aug. 21 against Sporting Kansas City on ESPN
- Oct. 31 against Sporting Kansas City on ESPN
The playoffs are set to begin on Nov. 19. More information on the postseason schedule will be announced at a later date.
