Minnesota United continue to battle for best possible playoff seed

KSTP Sports attended Minnesota United practice Tuesday in Blaine. Following a shutout loss last weekend to FC Dallas, United have fallen into fifth place in the Western Conference standings. The race for the playoffs continues to be incredibly tight.

Following practice, we spoke with manager Adrian Heath and defender Kemar Lawrence.

The Loons have failed to score for two consecutive game. This comes after a long run of goal-scoring that saw Minnesota avoid being shutout in 13 league games in a row, stretching from mid-June to late-August.

Saturday night, Minnesota United will be traveling to take on the Portland Timbers. Both teams are clinging to playoff spots.
