Minnesota United: No fans at Allianz Field for remainder of 2020 season
Tuesday, Major League Soccer (MLS) announced the remainder of the league’s schedule. Additionally, Minnesota United announced due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Allianz Field will remain without fans for the rest of the 2020 season.
Minnesota United’s remaining schedule is as follows:
- Oct. 3 vs. FC Cincinnati, 7 p.m.
- Oct. 6 at Nashville SC, 7:30 p.m.
- Oct. 11 at FC Dallas, 7:30 p.m.
- Oct. 14 vs. Chicago Fire, 7 p.m.
- Oct. 18 vs. Houston Dynamo, 7 p.m.
- Oct. 24 at FC Cincinnati, 6:30 p.m.
- Oct. 28 vs. Colorado Rapids, 7 p.m.
- Nov. 1 at Sporting Kansas City, 6:30 p.m.
- Nov. 8 vs. FC Dallas, 5:30 p.m.
"For the safety of our players, staff and fans, Minnesota United has made the decision to play games behind closed doors for the foreseeable future," Minnesota United said in a statement. "We continue to monitor and evaluate the situation with the input of government and health officials. As in Phase 1, fans will be able to catch MNUFC games through our partners FOX Sports North and SKOR North."
