Not many WNBA coaches hold two-and-a-half-hour training camp sessions. Then again, not many WNBA coaches have had the run of success Cheryl Reeve has. Her Lynx have begun training camp in preparation for the 2022 season.

Newcomer Angel McCoughtry is a 12-year WNBA veteran, but admitted Tuesday the Lynx’ practice routine – and Minnesota spring weather – take some getting used to.
McCoughtry joins an already experienced Lynx roster looking to snap a four-year title drought – the longest in Reeve’s tenure as head coach.
Reeve, a 3-time WNBA Coach of the year – most recently in 2020 – has guided the Lynx to four league championships.
The Lynx open the 2022 season Friday, May 6 at Seattle.
Their home opener is two days later, on Sunday, May 8 against Washington.
